Teachers have no faith in any political party cutting the workload they face

In a recent TES poll a staggering 50% of teachers do not have any believe that any of the political parties have proposals and policies in place to ease the intense workload placed on teachers today.

50% of teachers responded “none of the above” when questioned on which party had the best proposals to improve their working lives.

The TES poll showed that Labour is the party teachers have most faith in, pulling in 20% of the vote, followed by the Greens on 15% with the coalition securing a measly 4% each.

With less than 6 weeks away until he country votes the lack of clear support for any of the main parties by teachers and educationalists is a cause for major concern with the election expected to be incredibly tight to the end.
